Newberg, Oregon artist Marion McMuldren takes her inspiration from close up
photographs that capture the beauty and diversity of the natural world rarely seen.
Striving to capture that feeling of awe and wonderment, McMuldren uses these
images to create one of a kind abstract naturescapes with themes centered around
earth, water and space. She developed her own set of liquid binders she then
combines with colored pigments as the base for her artwork.
